A night filled with explosive bangs is just weeks away and we know places you can go for a front-row seat of it all.

The Sacramento region is lined up with fireworks shows for the Fourth of July holiday, from West Sacramento to Placerville. Many of the events, which are listed, require a cash-only parking fee so come prepared.

4th on the Field - West Sacramento

The 10th annual 4th on the Field celebration will have food trucks, drinks, vendors, live music and fireworks.

The event is from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4. The fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m.

Elk Grove Salute to the Red, White and Blue

The city of Elk Grove will host a fireworks display, presented by Sky River Casino, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4.

Rancho Cordova 4th of July Celebration

Rancho Cordova’s two-day celebration runs from Monday, July 3 to Tuesday, July 4. Both days are packed with activities including races, carnival rides, concerts and fireworks.

Carnival ride tickets ($30 per person) are sold separately.

Fourth of July Family Blast

El Dorado County Fairgrounds | 100 Placerville Drive, Placerville

Cost: $5 to $75 (cash only)

The annual Fourth of July celebration in El Dorado County will include live music, food and drinks and fireworks.

Roseville 4th of July Celebration

  • At the Grounds | 700 Event Center Drive, Roseville
  • Cost: Free entry, $10 parking fee (cash only)

The 4th of July fireworks show starts at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, with kid-friendly games and concessions. The fireworks are scheduled to start around 9 p.m.
