LOS ANGELES

Kings forward Vince Carter is probable for Tuesday night’s game at the Los Angeles Clippers. He has a strained rib muscle.

Carter, who was upgraded from questionable on Tuesday afternoon, was a late scratch from Saturday’s home loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

Carter is averaging just 2.9 points this season, but the 20-year veteran is one of the players the coaching staff leans on to help keep the Kings organized and he played a big role in last Tuesday’s victory in Philadelphia.

The Kings will be without rookie point guard De’Aaron Fox (partial tear in right quadriceps muscle).
