American Girl will make history this week by annoucning that its new collection lineup will include a boy doll, Logan.
Logan is a drummer from Nashville, Tenn., the company said on its website, and a bandmate to Tenney, another new doll in the collection.

Logan is the latest push by Mattel, which acquired the doll maker for $700 million in 1998, to create more contemporary figures and stories for American Girl, according to the New York Times.
